Value of Your Time

Your time is valuable, or at least act like it is. No business meeting should go over an hour. Even if you’re a business noob, and you have nothing else to do after the meeting, you should tell the person you’re meeting you only have an hour.

Don’t make my mistake and stay around for 2 hours trying to build a relationship. Even though there was no awkwardness in it, it probably made me look desperate and as if I didn’t value my time. Plus, they haven’t even called me back after I sent them a proposal. So value your time.

Golf is different. That’s an activity that doubles as a meeting, but it’s a “fun” activity first.
