Today, I met with my Anchorbolt buddies and Christian, my business mentor, at a Starbucks near downtown. We discussed many things, but the main thing was music video contracts. We talked about meeting with a potential client and how we were practicing on how we’re going to pitch and sell our services to them. Mario will be in charge of doing the sale’s pitch. Christian told us to get a contract ready by the end of the day, and that’s what we did. We went back to my house and cranked out a contract using “Contracts for the Film and Television Industry” which we used as our blueprint.

A tip when getting advice from someone, always make sure that they understand what both you and them are talking about, because sometimes you might be getting advice for the wrong thing, and you don’t want to waste your time or theres. Today there was a miscommunication, and I was hesitant to correct her, but eventually my partner did, and we were both better because of it.
